Band sophomore Nathan Goldin plays defense in the fourth quarter of the boys basketball game against Greenacres Christian Academy on Dec. 2. The game ended with a 71-37 Dreyfoos loss.
When Team Gaz began the Winter Sports story, we agreed it would be a guide to winter sports on different levels—school, college, and professional. Since I couldn’t go to college and professional games, we also agreed I’d take photos at a school game.
Even though I was technically prepared to go to the basketball game, I was still anxious, as always, since I didn’t know how to photograph a sports game and I especially didn’t know how to write a caption on one. I ended up overthinking the whole time, despite the only real issue at the end being grain.
