A Filipina-American student at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and a second-year staffer on The Muse, Caitlin Villacrusis is an aspiring poet, passionate photojournalist, and a self-confessed pessimist.

As a storyteller, she aspires to incorporate all of her interests and passions into her future career as a writer and free-lance photojournalist. She aims to use creative writing to explore her own experiences, while with photography, she's dedicated to sharing others' stories.

She enjoys spending her free time watching old thrillers and period films, studying grammar, or reading poetry and myths.
