Because of scheduling complications with our original story idea for the first cycle, we had to first start with a brief. The plan was to do live coverage of the upcoming vocal potluck.
Ellie and I stayed after at Starbucks before going and bonded over coffee and conversation. We then went and watched as parents handed out food and upperclassmen handed over gifts.
Overall, the brief felt like a breeze primarily because of all the interactions. After food, I shot the games the vocal students played outside and took their group picture, talking with officers and students throughout the night.
