I knew with the BSU block party story that I wanted to experiment and branch out of what I usually do. For this story, the think sheet came especially handy, pushing me to find the picture that inspired my decision to use a fisheye lens.
With the inspiration photo and 90s fisheye trends in mind, I went to the cafeteria to immediately jump into using it.
Although I was accidentally shooting with manual focus, I found no other problems that day. The fisheye lens was surprisingly easy to work with and the distortion fit the excitement of the story.
